How it works
To start, you’ll need to download this free printable. Just enter your email below, and we’ll give you a PDF version that is simple to print:
Print the 24 task cards and the 2 charts. To ensure that it can withstand some wear and tear, we advise printing on heavier stock paper. As an alternative, you may laminate the charts and cards if you have one of these useful laminators!
You’ll need Velcro stickers for the following step.
One side should be attached to the task card, and the other to the chart.
To make it simple for you to move the cards around, just make sure you don’t mix up the sides (for example, the “hook” side should always be on the chart and the “furry” side should always be on the cards).
Additionally, there are 24 blank task cards that you can fill in with whatever you want to give your child their own unique morning and nighttime routine.
Your child’s morning and bedtime routine can now be developed on the “To Do” side.
Once they have finished a task, tell your children to change the task card from the “To Do” side to the “Done” side.
Once all of the cards are on the “Done” side, tuck them in and give them a hug in appreciation for finishing their daily routines!
They will find the chores easier as they go along, and eventually they won’t even need the chart!
They’ll simply be accustomed to it at this point.
